In typical payback spirit, fans willing to attend the 3rd Place Playoff match of CHAN 2024 at the Mandela National Stadium – Namboole in Uganda will enjoy a field day at office.
The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) has announced free entry for at least 28,000 fans in the Sudan versus Senegal duel during the 6 p.m. kick-off.

These tickets have been paid for by the Government of Uganda.
There will also be top-notch entertainment by Uganda’s leading artists as Jose Chameleon, Vinka, John Blaq, Sunna Ben, among others.

Addressing the journalists at the Uganda Media Center (UMC) in Kampala, Dr Denis Mugimba, the media and signage sub-committee chairperson on the Uganda LOC affirmed.
“All these tickets are for free courtesy of the Government of Uganda. Fans should collect them from the CHAN website without paying,” Dr. Mugimba revealed as he addressed the media.

Mandela National Stadium hosted all the Group C matches apart from the Niger versus Algeria last pool game.

The same venue also hosted a quarterfinal duel between Uganda Cranes and Senegal, a semifinal contest between Senegal and Morocco and will play host to the third-place playoff match between Senegal and Sudan on Friday.
For all the matches at Mandela National Stadium, the fans have shown energy and vigour with lively cheering and utmost entertainment.
The final between Morocco and Madagascar will be played on Saturday, 30th August 2025 at the Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani, Nairobi.
The 2024 CHAN Pamoja tournament has been co-hosted by Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
