Uganda Premier League outfit KCCA FC have continued to bolster their squad ahead of the new season. The latest acquisition is winger Rogers Mugisha who they have unveiled on Wednesday.

Mugisha joins the Lugogo-based side as a free agent from Kitara FC where he played last season.

Signing for KCCA FC is a dream come true. This is one of the biggest clubs in the country. I am ready to give my all for the badge. I know the expectations are high, but I am confident in my abilities and look forward to contributing to the team’s success.” He said as qouted by the club website.

He joins the list of players re-uniting with coach Brian Ssenyondo. The list includes Lazaro Muhindo and Ivan Ahimbisbwe.

Mugisha has previously played at UPDF FC and also had stints abroad at Gor Mahia FC in Kenya and AC Horsens in Denmark.

At KCCA FC, he comes in as direct replacement for Arafat Usama who left the club and will bolster the forward line that has playera Etienne Katenge, Yan Gatbel, Joao Gabriel, Shafik Nana Kwikiriza.

Mugisha becomes the club’s fifth major signing in the current transfer window after Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Herbert Achayi, Lazaro Muhindo, and Enock Walusimbi.
