Goalkeeper, Charles Lukwago has found solace at KCCA FC after running down his contract at South African side Venda FC.

According to reports, Lukwago has put pen to a two-year employment contract at his former side KCCA FC keeping him at the club until 2027.

Lukwago’s return to Lugogo feels like a massive void at the club that struggled to find a constant starter between the goal posts.

The return of Lukwago offers experience and a winning touch as the Kasasiro Boys seek to return to their glory days.

While at KCCA, Lukwago managed to guide the club to two Uganda Premier League titles, two Uganda Cup titles, and a Super 8 title before icing it with CECAFA glory in 2018.

Lukwago has previously played for Lweza FC, Victoria University (defunct), Proline, KCCA, St George (Ethiopia) and Venda (South Africa).
