Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi, Fufa’s 3rd Vice President representing premier league clubs on the executive has mocked clubs she represents by stating Fufa has the power to dissolve the league.
Nakiwala was speaking to NBS Sport on the standoff between several clubs and Fufa over competition reforms that saw Moses Magogo introduce a new league format which premier league clubs have resisted.
“We (Fufa) own the league and have powers to dissolve it if we want,” she stated.
The statement didn’t only irk football fans but club owners as well and the football fraternity.
When asked about her achievement as a club representative, the former Express chairperson said she championed the 50 million to each club after Fufa quashed buying tickets for Caf intercontinental representatives.
However, since it was passed in the Fufa Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Gulu three years ago, clubs have never received any penny.
At the moment, Fufa has warned premier league clubs that they risk missing out on the 3.4 billion kitty, where they are destined to receive only 80 million as cash support if they maintain their stand against the new format.
She’s is a time bomb, these people think they are so important but time will tell
She should stop that arrogance…..she have never played football…Uganda premier League is not owned by FUFA but subscribe to FUFA….may be if they want to replace it with BIG League that is owned by FUFA, they can do so….

I wonder how FUFA can send someone to represent clubs who failed at express 100%,never played football,but mouth,never run a significant business known abd she is just being employed by Magogo.
The greatest mistake FUFA can do is to tamper with clubs.
We used to have a league administration governed by the clubs themselves magogo did everything to resolve because of omululu(greed).
Who owns Elsporto, these guys get cuts off sponsors, all promotions are owned by magogo’s company and et al.
Can you imagine they have Bern getting funding for the last 5 years but just swindling it.Not until the state house meeting that exposed Hajji Magogo.
Eating will stop when,the same guy had eaten players money ask Onyango,u create a fake hotel you name it fifa hotel but the titles are in your names who is fooling who.

Where has the format been tested as fifa has no funds for research.
Better use it in women’s league for 3 to 5 years then big league then top league.
