Vision Volleyball Club beat KCB Nkumba to level the series in the ongoing National Volleyball League semifinal playoffs.
Vision Volleyball Club secured an impressive 3-0 victory against KCB Nkumba in the semifinal NVL encounter at Old Kampala Arena on Sunday.
KCB Nkumba came into this game knowing a victory in game two would confirm a spot in the final of the ongoing NVL playoffs. Until this point they had not lost a game in this campaign.
In game one, VVC but up a great fight and challenge but KCB Nkumba held on to roll out of the kiln in a 3-2 victory.
A few moments to conclude the first set, VVC were trailing 22-18 but managed to overturn the tide and ran away with a 25-23 win.
In the second quarter, it was a point of resilience and attention to detail as Ketty Aluka led the VVC to a second set triumph (25-19) thanks to her brilliant attack.
Nkumba thought they would pull back one set as they led 21-18 but VVC launched a late charge and won the third set with a 26-24 triumph.
The two sides will face off in a highly anticipated game three decider that will be played on Tuesday.
