  • Magic Stormers 78-60 KCCA Leopards

Magic Stormers levelled the series with KCCA Leopards, thus forcing a Game 3 in the National Basketball League Playoff Quarterfinals.

The Stormers secured a well-deserved 78-60 victory against the Leopards at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Wednesday night.

Nyachwo Owor concluded the period with a layup as Magic Stormers trailed by a point (14-13) in the first quarter.

Martha Soigi’s turnaround jump shot concluded the second quarter as the KCCA Leopards took a 12-point lead (37-25) into the halftime break.

Coming from the locker rooms, the Magic Stomers dug deep to level matters 51-51 at the end of the third quarter.

The Leopards were limited to only nine points in the final quarter as the Magic Stomers registered an 18-point victory.

Joy Nekesa Mupalia turned up big with a double-double, dropping 18 points and pulling down 13 rebounds for the Magic Stomers.

Angella Auma (23 points) and Daphine Adong (18 points) joined the scoring party with double digits for the Stomers.

On the other hand, Soigi (11 points), Tracy Namugosa (11 points) and Perus Nyamwenge (10 points) scored in double figures for the Leopards.
