The 2025-2026 season of the Pepsi University Football League (UFL) is slated to kick off soon.

The draws were held at the Kati Kati Restaurant along Lugogo By-Pass in Kampala on Thursday, 18th September 2025.

This year’s edition has witnessed the increase for the number of universities from 23 to 29 with the additions of King Ceasor University, Mountains of the Moon University, African Renewal University, Soroti University and Lira University.

In the same vein, Bishop Stuart and Kyambogo University have also returned from their suspensions.

There are five groups from A, B, C, D through to E.

Uganda Martyrs’ University (UMU) Nkozi is the reigning champion.

UMU will kick off play on 25th September 2025 at Hamz Stadium with a yet to be named team during the official opening duel.
