The game between newly promoted teams Buhimba United Saints and Calvary on Friday was cancelled due to heavy rains.

The game that was supposed to be played at Royals Park, Butema could not kickoff after the pitch was deemed unfit for play by the magic officials.

The Uganda Premier League secretariat later made a communication to that effect indicating the game will be played on Saturday at 10:00AM.

“Please be informed that the Matchday 2 SUPL fixture (M#13) between Buhimba United Saints FC and Calvary FC, originally scheduled for today at The Royals Park, Butema, has been called off due to heavy rains that rendered the pitch unplayable. The match has been rescheduled to Saturday, 4th October 2025, with kick-off at 10:00 AM at the same venue. We thank you for your continued cooperation and support as we prioritise player safety, fair competition, and match integrity.”

In the only Uganda Premier League game played on Friday, UPDF FC edged Mbarara City at Kakyeka Stadium.
