For the first time in twelve years, Algeria are back in the Fifa World Cup after beating Somalia 3-0 on Thursday.
A Mohamed Amoura double and Riyad Mahrez goal were enough to hand the Desert Foxes a deserved win.
They now move to 22 points, four ahead of second placed Uganda with one round of qualifiers to play.
It is the first time since 2014 that Algeria will play at the world cup and will host Uganda on Monday October 14 in the final game.
It is now Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt that have confirmed their qualification so far.
For Uganda, fighting to finish among the four second best ranked teams is now the priority but must beat the Algerians in the final game.
