Kampala Queens forward Kamiyati Naigaga has set her target for the ongoing 2025-26 FUFA Women’s Super League.

Having scored a goal and made only four assists last season, the quick-footed forward plans to do everything it takes to double her figures in terms of goals and assists.

Speaking to the club media, Kamiyati noted that she is ready for the tough campaign with her target set and put out clearly.

“I’m more ready to compete and deliver strong performances — scoring goals and assisting my teammates to score improving on last season’s count,” the website quoted Kamiyati.

“That’s my key role and I intend to keep doing my usual thing. I want to improve on my numbers from last season because I believe there is room for growth,” she added.

Her goal helped Kampala Queens salvage a point after a 1-1 draw against rivals Kawempe Muslim. Ahead of the encounter against Makerere University, she understands the assignment ahead noting it is an aggressive side.

“Those ladies are very aggressive and will come ready to fight for the three points. But for us, we equally need the win and are fully prepared.”

“The good thing is they are coming to our home and we hope to host them well. We respect them but we are confident and focused on getting the job done.”

The game will hosted at Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM.
