In what was a repeat of last season’s finals, KCB-Nkumba defeated defending champions Sport-S as the 2025-26 National Volleyball League got underway on Friday at the Old Kampala Arena.
Despite starting slow, Nkumba edged the thrilling season opener 3-2 (22:25, 25:13, 25:19, 18:25, 9-15).
