Humphrey Alisigwa

The Victoria Sharks have continued to beef up their squad, adding Kenyan winger Humphrey Asiligwa.

Asiligwa, who has been turning out for the Kenya Cup champions, the Kabras Sugar RFC, broke onto the scene directly out of High School.

This officially becomes the 38th signing of the season for the Victoria Sharks, who will be playing in their second top-flight season. Within their squad, the Sharks already have wingers like Stephen Kalema and Emma Ochan, who both signed from the Heathens.

Additionally, more wingers like Ivan Scarlett Otai, who signed last season for the KOBs from Impis, have also been sighted training with the Sharks during this off-season.

The Uganda Rugby Union hasn’t officially opened the transfer window, as the Uganda Cup that was meant to start the rugby calendar last year is now the last piece of business to be handled.

Asiligwa joins a host of Kenyans like Israel Makokha and Elvince Odhiambo at the University outfit.
