KCCA Volleyball Club (Men) are the champions of the 2025 National Club Championship.
KCCA VC secured a well-deserved 3-0 victory against Nemostars in the 2025 National Club Championship (NCC) final at Old Kampala on Sunday.
Both teams entered the match in great form, having defeated the formidable Sport-S. KCCA VC triumphed over Sport-S in the NCC semifinals, while Nemostars achieved a significant victory against Sport-S in the league opener.
KCCA came out of their blocks early and took away the opening set (25-22) lighting up the crowd on the cold evening after a heavy downpour.
Nemostars tried to return in the second quarter but looked abit fatigued as they fell to KCCA (25-18) setting a thrilling third quarter.
The final quarter lived up to the billing as it had to be separated at the livewire. Despite the strong fight from Nemostars, KCCA stood firm and sealed the victory (26-24).
In the end, the match highlighted KCCA’s sharpness and improvement while Nemostars still lack the bite and muscle when the stakes a high.
