Lady Doves FC and National Women Football Leagues delegate to the FUFA Assembly Scovia Angyeyango will be honored this weekend during the FUFA Women Super League games.
Angyeyango passed on last Sunday and was laid to rest in Kyabaswa Village, Masindi district.
FUFA on Thursday, communicated to the clubs, seeking them to observe a moment of silence in honor of the fallen football administrator.
“Following the passing of Ms. Scovia Angyeyango, a dedicated football administrator, CEO of Lady Doves FC, FUFA Delegate representing National Women Football Leagues in the FUFA Assembly and passionate advocate for women’s football, all FUFA Women Super League clubs are kindly requested to pay tribute to her legacy this weekend. As a mark of respect, al teams shall observe a moment of silence before kick-off during Match Day 3 fixtures in the FUFA Women Super League on the weekend of October 18-19, 2025.” Reads the statement from FUFA.
Matchday Three will see She Corporate host Asubo Ladies, Lady Doves will entertain Uganda Martyrs Lubaga, Amus College will be at home to She Maroons, St. Noa Girls visit Kawempe Muslim while Makerere University and Rines SS welcome Olila High School, Kampala Queens respectively.
