Mbarara City and BUL played out a one-all draw as the two teams faced off on Friday evening at Kakyeka Stadium.

Seiri Arigumaho, formerly at Mbarara City, gave BUL the lead but the hosts were able to get the equalizer through Ian Amanya.

In a closely contested game, Arigumaho opened the scoring in the 35th minute but the lead was short-lived with Amanya finding the equalizer four minutes later.

BUL were forced into making an early change with Jerome Kirya sustaining an injury before the break and he was replaced by Isaac Wagoina.

The Eastern Giants had goalkeeper Tom Ikara to thank in the closing stages, denying the hosts on numerous occasions.

The result means BUL FC move to second place on five points, the same as KCCA FC, while Mbarara City remain winless in their first three games, drawing twice and losing the other.
