Following their decent start to the 2025/26 season, Police face a stern test when they take on NEC at the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo in the only league game on Saturday.
The Cops, 2005 league champions come into the game on four points after a win and draw against Express and Mbarara City respectively – both matches at home.
Matia Lule’s men looked decent in both matches but NEC, who were held by URA in their only game of the premiership so far.
Meanwhile, following their disappointing draw with URA in which they threw a lead in their 1-1 draw, NEC will be desperate for their first win of the season.
NEC are unbeaten in three meetings in all competitions with a win in the Stanbic Uganda Cup and two draws last season in the league.
The fixture will conclude match round three of the first round.
