She Corporate FC mean business this season, if their brilliant start is anything to go by. With several changes made both to the playing and coaching units, the Sharks seem to be on the right path.
On Saturday, at their new home ground, FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru, She Corporate earned a comfortable 2-0 win over newcomers Asubo Ladies FC.
Cissy Nakate and Rebecca Nakato scored a goal apiece to guide the team to victory and consequently moved to the top of the table on seven points from three games.
It should be noted that She Corporate started the season by dispatching Uganda Martyrs 4-1 before playing out a goalless draw at She Maroons.
Before the start of this season, the team bolstered the squad by adding players like Viola Namuddu, Lukiya Namubiru, Gillian Akadinda and Alima Nambafu, among others.
The coaching unit saw Burundian Belyse Ininahazwe take the role of head coach and she is assisted by former Oliwa High School gaffer Pade Cifu.
In the other game played on Saturday, Amus College secured its first win of the season, defeating She Maroons 3-1. Esther Namataka (brace) and Ruth Nyakato scored for the school side while Lillian Kasuubo got the consolation for the Prison Sentries.
Uganda Martyrs will play Lady Doves in Masindi later on today, while Rines vs Kampala Queens, Olila High School vs Makerere University and Kawempe Muslim up against St. Noa will come on Sunday.
