Kawempe Muslim, Makerere University and Kampala Queens grabbed wins on Sunday to round off Matchday Three action of the FUFA Women Super League.

Reigning Champions Kampala Queens were the biggest winners over the weekend, dispatching Rines SS 5-2 in Wakiso.

Zaitun Namaganda and Kamiyati Naigaga scored a brace each while Catherine Nagadya added the other goal to guide the Queens of Soccer to victory. Patricia Nanyanzi and Eva Nagayi got the consolation goals for Rines.

The win takes Kampala Queens joint top of the table on seven points, the same as She Corporate and Kawempe Muslim Ladies who also have the same number of points.

Kawempe Muslim were 2-1 winners over St. Noa in a closely contested game played at the Valley Ground, Kawempe.

Jovia Nakagolo and Latifa Nakasi scored the two important goals for the Warriors while Giovanna Aketowanga pulled one back for St. Noa.

Elsewhere, Makerere University claimed its first win of the season, edging Olila High School 1-0 courtesy of Noeline Namiiro’s goal.
