Amus College has finally secured their first victory of the ongoing 2025/26 FUFA Women Super League.
Amus College secured a well deserving 3-1 victory against She Maroons in the FWSL encounter at the Amus Stadium.
Esther Namataka (brace) and Tamisi Shafiga were on the score sheet as Amus College picked maximum points on the day.
Namataka fired the hosts ahead early in the game after smartly connecting with Edina Wanda’s delivery from the left flank.
Half way through the period, Namataka doubled the hosts lead as Amus firmly got hold of the driving seat in the game.
Tamisi joined the party in the 35th minute, sealing a dominant first half as the fans got onto their feet.
Lillian Kasuubo pulled one back for the Maroons in the 72nd minute with a great finish but it was too late for the visitors to pick anything positive out of the game.
Amus College will return to action on Sunday, October 26 as they take on She Corporates while Maroons will play Lady Doves next in Luzira.
