URA’s Isabirye hails brother Bogere ahead of Lugazi clash

Alex Isabirye has hailed his brother Steven Bogere as one of the best coaches in Uganda as he prepares his URA team to face Lugazi in Najjembe.

Four-time league winners URA go into the game winless in three matches played so far with as many stalemates and must win to stay on track for their title ambitions this campaign.

“It is sad that we have drawn all our matches so far yet the target for each game we go into is maximum points,” a disappointed Isabirye told the press.

“But we hope to start winning at Lugazi, very difficult game especially after they held KCCA but we are confident of victory,” he added.

When asked what he has on mind as takes on his brother, Isabirye said family ties will only matter before and after the game.

“This is a job where we all want victory. It is always tough playing against his teams because he is one of the best coaches in Uganda.”

The visitors will miss three key players in Arthur Kiggundu, Ronald Otti and Derrick Ochan through injury but have enough in their squad to do the job.

URA won both matches 1-0 last season and will hope for a repeat that could lift them from 9^th place to second on the log.

In the other game on the day, newcomers Calvary make a long trip to Luzira to face hosts Maroons.

The Prison Warders beat UPDF 2-1 at Bombo in the last outing while Calvary are yet to pick any points out of their two matches played and are bottom of the log.

Maroons, who could jump to second place with a win lost their first game at BUL but their first home game will come in the Calvary clash.
