KCCA got the bragging rights over their nemesis, Express, edging the closely contested Kampala derby on Thursday evening at Nakivubo Stadium.

Sammy Ssebaduka scored the lone goal of the game to guide KCCA FC to its second win of the season. This was the first goal for the young forward in KCCA FC colours.

He dashed into the box to tap home from Joel Sserunjogi’s corner kick delivery in the 71st minute, sending the KCCA fans into a frenzy.

Express nearly found an equalizer nine minutes later but goalkeeper Charles Lukwago pulled off a wonderful save to deny the Red Eagles.

The result lifts KCCA FC upto third place on eight points while Express remain sixth on the table with four points.
