The 2025 Uganda Handball Federation (UHF) National League will officially climax at the Old Kampala Sports Arena on Saturday, 25th October.
For the 5th year running, Police Women Handball Club will be crowned on the podium as champions.
This follows consecutive triumphs from 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and now 2025

Since Nkumba University’s 2019 triumph, it has been Police on song.
Police Women Handball Club comes to the final matchday unbeaten, having won 17 out of the 17 matches played.
In the final duel, they take on rivals Prisons in a titanic clash. Prisons is currently second with 23 points, 11 shy of the champions in the waiting.
“I want to thank the players, fellow coaches, also thank the IGP, Director of Sports, AIGP Hadijah Namutebi and ACP Abu Kalule for the push throughout the season,” Azizi Yakub, head coach of Police, remarks.

It should be noted that Police is also the reigning East and Central Africa Handball Club Championship winner, having defeated Nairobi Waters last year in December during the championships played in Kigali, Rwanda.
Nairobi Waters had also dominated that Championship for 10 years.
This season, the 2025 East and Central African Club Championship will be held from 15th to 23rd November at the Old Kampala Sports Arena in Kampala.
Meanwhile, the handball title for the men goes to the wire on the final day.
UPDF has 28 points, two adrift from Prisons, as Police is third with 18 points.
