CAF Champions League: League phase draw pots confirmed

Ahead of the 2025/26 TotalEnergies Caf Champions League draw slated for Monday November 3, 2025 in South Africa, the Confederation of African Football has confirmed the seedings.

Sixteen (16) clubs have advanced from the second preliminary round and will be engaged in the official group stage draw where they will be divided into four groups of four teams (Groups A-D).

The teams have been seeded based on their performance in CAF interclub competitions over the past five seasons.

Pot 2: Simba SC (TAN), Pyramids FC (EGY), Al Hilal SC (SUD), Young Africans (TAN)

Pot 3: Atlético Petroleos (ANG), AS FAR (MAR), MC Alger (ALG), Rivers United FC (NGA)

How will the draw phase be carried out?
