Islamic University In Uganda (IUIU) rescues a late point against Ndejje University in the University Football League.
IUIU held Ndejje University in a one-all draw in the UFL 2025-26 encounter at the Arena of Visions on Tuesday evening.
Joel Olupot and Robert Twesigye scored for Ndejje University and IUIU respectively in an end to end encounter.
The hosts started well coming out of their blocks early but struggled to go past the IUIU’s strong and firm low block.
Coming from the half time break, IUIU improved on the pace thus forcing the hosts on the back foot for the opening 10 minutes.
With four minutes to play, Ndejje broke the deadlock through Opolot as the home crowd went into chants and jubilations.
In added time, Twesigye broke the hosts’ heart with a late strike thus giving the visitors a sweet point to carry home.
