Kamiyat Naigaga and Belyse Ininahazwe have been recognised as the best player and coach respectively for the month of October.

The duo were recognised in the monthly awards after their great performances at their respective sides in the FUFA Women Super League.

In the players’ category, Naigaga shook off competition She Corporates’ Jesca Namanda and Molly Naava to take home the best player award.

Naigaga has been on a good run in the recent games, scoring five goals in four games. The goals helped her side pick two wins and two draws.

Speaking to the press after picking the award, Naigaga revealed that the award will motivate her to keep going.

“This award will motivate me to keep going and performing well to win more for the future,” the forward noted.

“Last season, I didnt have much time for football as I was in S.6 preparing for my final exams but this season I’m fully focused and ready to offer my best,” he added.

According to Naigaga, she intends to win more best player’s awards, the golden boot and eventually help Kampala Queens win the title.

In the coaches category, Ininahazwe won the best coach pf the month ahead of Kawempe Muslim’s Ayub Khalifa and Kampala Queens’ Asefa Firew Haile.

In October, Ininahazwe was on the touchline as She Corporates won three and drew once in the four games played.
