Kabojja’s leadership through Principal/CEO Sam Turya and Director Owek. Ahmed Lwasa reaffirmed the school’s dedication to sports as a core part of its educational philosophy.
Sports are not just extracurricular activities—they are essential to character development, discipline, and mental wellness. We believe that students must be active, engaged, and exposed to opportunities that build resilience and teamwork. The school has invested significantly in sports infrastructure, including a football pitch and multi-sport facilities, demonstrating its belief that sports are integral to shaping well-rounded individuals.

This partnership also opens doors for international exposure and cultural exchange.
Kabojja recognizes the value of students interacting with peers from diverse backgrounds, including visiting athletes.
“Sports create networks. When our students interact with others, they build relationships that go beyond the game. This is how we prepare them for a global society.” While acknowledging potential logistical challenges, Mr Sam Turya, the Principal/CEO reiterated the school views them as opportunities to grow and adapt, ensuring that students benefit from real-world experiences.

The 2025 Uganda Open Table Tennis Championship is scheduled for December 6th–7th, and Kabojja International School is gearing up to host the event with full support from its staff, students and parent community.
This championship not only marks a milestone in Uganda’s sporting calendar but also reflects Kabojja’s unwavering commitment to nurturing talent, fostering discipline and promoting holistic education through sports.
