Uganda Premier League Calvary has confirmed that the club and Coach Jimmy Kintu Mwera have agreed to part ways immediately.
The announcement has been made today, Monday, November 10, 2025 via a statement released on the club’s official social media platforms.
“The club has mutually agreed to part ways with Head Coach Jimmy Kintu Mwera,” the statement partly reads.
“We extend our sincere appreciation to Coach Kintu for his contributions during his tenure and wish him success in his future endeavours,” the statement added.

However, the statement comes in after the gaffer had laid down his tools following his expression of discomfort and disappointment at the delay in salary payments.
A source close to the club said that the players and the coach have gone four months without pay. This has made the working environment hard in their early days in the top tier.
After playing five games in the ongoing campaign, Calvary has lost four and made one draw. Their next fixture will be against UPDF on Wednesday, November 19.
Kintu becomes the second coach to be relieved of his duty, following Hussein Mbalangu, who was shown the back door at NEC Football Club.
