  • Kampala Queens 2-0 Uganda Martyrs

Kampala Queens secured a well-deserved 2-0 victory against Uganda Martyrs in the FUFA Women’s Super League encounter at Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, on Sunday.

Catherine Nagadya scored a brace as the Queens of Soccer secured maximum points on the day.

In under 15 minutes, Kamiyat Naigaga was fouled in a dangerous area, and the centre referee awarded a penalty to the hosts.

Nagadya stepped up to the occasion and smartly and calmly converted the penalty from the 12-yard mark.

At the stroke of the opening period, Nagadya completed his brace as Kampala Queens took further control of the driving seat.

After scoring a brace, the forward was named the Woman of the Match after a great and thrilling performance on the day.

After the victory, Kampala Queens lie second on the log with 17 points while Uganda Martyrs are ninth with five points after seven games.

Kampala Queen return to action on Saturday, November 22 when they take on She Maroons, while Uganda Martyrs host Olila HS on the same day.
