The Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 result between Police and Lugazi is awaiting a FUFA Judicial Body decision following the former’s petition.

Lugazi had won the round of 32 contest 2-1 at Kira Road Arena, but Police petitioned FUFA, indicating they fielded an ineligible player.

The player in question is Umar Kyebatala, who actually scored one of the goals in that game, but it is believed he featured for Football Classroom in the same tournament this season before sealing a move to Lugazi.

The petition now awaits a decision from the FUFA Judicial Bodies. The winner of the case will visit NEC at the round of 16.

The Round of 16 draw was conducted on Thursday at FUFA House in Mengo, and the fixtures are as follows;

  • SC Villa Vs Maroons FC
  • NEC FC Vs Lugazi/Police
  • KCCA FC Vs Onduparaka
  • Happy Boys Kagaba Vs Six O’clock
  • Kitara FC Vs Bunyaruguru Utd
  • Express FC Vs Red Devo FC
  • Vipers SC Vs Iganga Utd
  • URA FC Vs Tapoh FC

The fixtures for the round of 16 will be played between 16th and 18th March 2026.
