Denis Onyango Credit: John Batanudde

Uganda Cranes head coach Paul Put has named a stronger lineup to face Morocco in an international friendly match at Stade Tanger.

The Belgian coach has made several changes to the team that edged Chad 2-1, as the Uganda Cranes sharpen up ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Denis Onyango has been deployed in goal, replacing the youthful custodian Denis Kiggundu, who put up a decent show in the previous game.

Toby Sibbick and Herbert Achayi will play in the right and left defensive roles with a secondary assignment of igniting attack on the flanks.

Hillary Mukundane and Jordan Obita will sit in the heart of the backline, shielding the goal area from any kind of danger from Morocco.

Kenneth Semakula and Khalid Aucho will play in the double anchorman roles, as the former will be expected to press high and balance the attack.

With Melvyn Lorenzen in the number 10 role, Allan Okello and Reagan Mpande will play as inverted wingers while Steven Mukwala leads the attack.
