Uganda Cranes registered mixed results in the November Fifa international window with a 2-1 win over Chad and a humbling 4-0 defeat to Afcon 2025 hosts Morocco.

The window is the last before Africa’s attention turns to the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations, where Uganda will be part as they face Tunisia, Tanzania and Nigeria in Group C.

Nigeria

Nigeria Super Eagles

The Super Eagles were involved in the playoffs for the Fifa World Cup.

First, they beat Gabon 4-1 in the semi-final in extra time with a brace from Victor Osimhen, adding to goals from Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke on Thursday, November 13.

In the final, they fell to Sebastien Desabre’s DR Congo on penalties after drawing 1-1 after extra time.

Frank Onyeka had given the three-time champions an early lead before Elia Meschack restored parity for the Leopards.

Tanzania

The Taifa Stars played one game during this window, losing 4-3 to Kuwait.

Charles M’Mombwa netted a brace for the Tanzania national team with Rochdale midfielder Tarryn Allarakhia getting the other.

Tunisia

Tunisia faced Brazil

The Carthage Eagles, whose last triumph in the Afcon was in 2004, beat Jordan 3-2 in the first friendly on November 14 with goals from OG Nice defender Ali Abdi, Lorient’s Montassar Talbi and FC Copenhagen forward Elias Achouri.

In their last trial match, they held five-time world champions Brazil to a 1-1 draw with Hazem Mastouri getting the goal for Tunisia in the 23rd minute, while Chelsea youngster Estevao levelled from the spot in the 44th minute.
