  • Kitara vs BUL – Royal Park Butema 4pm
  • Lugazi vs Express – Lugazi stadium, Najjembe 4pm
  • SC Villa vs NEC – Fufa stadium, Kadiba 8pm

SC Villa’s title credentials and current form face scrutiny when they host NEC at Fufa stadium, Kadiba under floodlights on Thursday.

The seventeen-time champions are on a three-match winning streak and are 3rd on the log with 10 points in six league matches.

Villa who overcame bogey side Kitara 1-0 in the last match before the international break wants to become the first side this season to win four games on the bounce.

They will miss the services of forward Reagan Mpande who has started their previous three matches in the centre forward role due to international engagements and that could be chance for Frank Ssebuufu, scorer of the winner against Kitara to start.

Zeljko Kovazevic also has options in Andrew Otim and Charles Lwanga in the lead striker role.

For NEC who have won just one game this season, a win against Villa will be the first under new coach Badru Kaddu who started his reign with a draw at home to BUL.

The visitors could have striker Innocent Media back for the contest but are without Jacob Okao who is ruled out for the rest of the season.

Last season, NEC edged both encounters but overall, Villa has won three including the Fufa Super 8 final in August.

Elsewhere, Express visit Lugazi while Kitara welcome BUL at Royal Park in Butema, Hoima.
