There will be renewal of acquaintances at the Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru when BUL and Entebbe UPPC lock horns in the premier league on Thursday.
The two sides are more like wounded lions after losing their last outings with BUL seeing their 25-match unbeaten streak ended by Kitara while Entebbe UPPC lost 2-0 to early pace setters Police.
BUL’s Abbey Kikomeko wants a reaction against a side once based in Jinja and will welcome Tom Ikara back from national duty.
“They used to be our local rivals here but they are now away,” he started. “But it is a game we want to win and we shall do everything necessary,” he added.
“Our forwards have not been clinical enough but with the availability of Karim Ndugwa, we shall have a good chance.”
The two sides have met six times in the premier league with two wins for BUL against one for the Entebbe based side.
BUL and Entebbe UPPC are tied on 10 points after seven matches with the Jinja based team above in 7th place with a better goal difference.
On the same day, Kitara make a trip to Kiira Road Arena to face Police who will reclaim top spot from Villa should they win.
