Jacky Ivan Minnaert has promised to ring changes in his starting XI to fresh up squad as Vipers host UPDF at Kitende on Tuesday.
Playing catch up, the champions have played three matches in seven days and the game against the army side will be the fourth in over 12 days.
Against both Express and Villa, the Belgian maintained the same starting XI and nearly the same substitutes.
In the 1-1 draw with the Jogoos, they looked stretched and, in the aftermath, Minnaert revealed he will reshuffle the team.
“The games are coming thick and fast,” Minnaert stated. “We played Express on Wednesday, Villa, and now UPDF FC on Tuesday. It’s a heavy run, and we must manage it well,” he added.
“We shall likely make changes because some players need to rest yet we need freshness. If we want to maintain our level, we must be smart with the squad.”
Expected to gain from the changes are skipper Milton Karisa, right back Ashraf Mandela, Paul Mbowa, Isaac Ogwang and Chukwuma Odili who could all start against Paul Kiwanuka’s men.

Meanwhile, UPDF want victory to improve standings and move away from relegation monster despite being early in the season.
They are third from bottom with six points and lost to SC Villa 1-0 in their most recent outing.
