- Police vs Buhimba Saints United – Police Arena, Kiira Road 8pm
After faltering in defeat to Kitara in their last game, Police FC want an immediate reaction by beating Buhimba United Saints who they host on Wednesday.
The 2005 champions are one of the sides that are tipped to be in contention for the title but the loss to the Royals at home left question marks on whether they can mount a title challenge.
They will be clear favourites against newly promoted Buhimba United Saints who are winless in five matches and yet to collect a point in that period in which they have conceded a record 20 goals.
Matia Lule will hope his side is lethal at both ends of the pitch with forwards led by Congolese import Bedia Ikamba firing in right direction, the midfield manned by skipper Said Kyeyune taking control and the backline keeping things tight at the back.
Victory for the hosts who are now 3rd on 14 points will lift them to joint top alongside KCCA and SC Villa are on 17 points while a rare win for Buhimba could see them jump to 7th position from 13th.
Elsewhere on Wednesday, Entebbe UPPC will hope to keep their unbeaten run on the road intact at Mbarara City’s Rwamanja stadium in Kamwenge.
