SC Villa secured a well-deserved 3-0 victory against URA in the Uganda Premier League encounter at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba on Thursday.
Diego Missi Ssemugera, Najib Yiga and Frank Mulimi were on target as SC Villa returned to winning ways.
SC Villa appealed for a penalty in the 13th minute after Frank Ssebufu was challenged in the area but the referee waved play on.
Justine Opiro’s long throw-ins challenged SC Villa’s backline but they stood tall and firm to limit trouble.
Diego Ssemugera broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute. Chrispus Kusiima failed to handle SC Villa’s free kick before spilling the ball into Ssemugera’s path.

Ten minutes later, the Tax Collectors came close to levelling matters but his powerful curling effort bounced off the frame.
Returning for the second stanza, URA introduced Muhamad Ssekkeba for Chrispas Kusiima, who earlier gave away an easy goal to SC Villa.
Yiga doubled SC Villa’s lead with a powerful effort that gave Ssekkebe a hard time before going into the back of the net.
Frank Mulimi put the icing on the cake in the 70th minute with a powerful strike that was deflected past the goalkeeper into the back of the net.
The victory propels SC Villa into second position on the log with 20 points, while URA remains ninth with 11 points after 10 games.
