The Uganda Cranes head coach Joseph Paul Put has named the starting line up to face AS FAR Rabat in the build-up duel on Saturday, 13th December 2025 at the Maamora stadium in Rabat city.
Salim Jamal Magoola starts in between the goal posts. SC Villa defender David Owori is at right back whilst Isaac Muleme at left back.
The Vipers duo of Hilary Mukundane and Rogers Torach Ochaki are the two centre backs.
Team captain Khalid Aucho and Bobosi Byaruhanga are the defensive midfield shield.
Travis Mutyaba and Shafik Nana Kwikiriza will offer the creative midfield options.
Denis Omedi and James Bogere are two attackers. Bogere will make a dream debut on the senior team after having been promoted from the national U-17 team.
The substitutes’ bench has Denis Onyango, Nafian Alionzi, Ivan Ahimisibwe, Allan Okello, Steven Mukwala, Ronald Ssekiganda, Reagan Mpande, Jude Ssemugabi and Baba Alhassan.
Kick-off is 7 PM, East African time.
This is one of the two build up matches that Uganda Cranes will play in preparation for the prestigious 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament which kicks off officially on 21st December in Morocco.
Uganda is pooled in group C alongside North Africans Tunisia, West Africans Nigeria and fellow East African country, Tanzania.
