It was history written as Sheila Agonzibwe Richardson, the President of the Uganda Handball Federation was elected to the Executive committee of the Confederation of African Handball (CAHB).
Richardson is the first woman to be elected on this committee since its inception.
The 24th Ordinary Assembly held in Egyptian capital Cairo had Dr Mansourou Aremou of Benin elected as president.
The appointment as an executive committee on the African Handball Confederation is a big honour. I thank all the members and together we shall serve to develop handball across the African continent.
