- Calvary FC vs Mbarara City FC – Midigo P/S Play Ground – Yumbe 4PM
- Vipers SC vs BUL FC – St. Mary’s Stadium – Kitende 8pm
For the second time in a row, Vipers’ squad depth and quality will come under scrutiny when they host desperate BUL on Saturday at the St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende.
The Venoms were toothless in the draw with lowly ranked Calvary in the past game which left the team frustrated and showed the importance of Allan Okello, Hilary Mukundane and Rogers Torach who are away with the national team in Morocco for Afcon 2025 preparations.
Against BUL, unbeaten in five premier league matches against Vipers, the champions will have to show grit than they did in Midigo.
Bady Dasylva, Livingstone Mulondo and Ashraf Mandela will be crucial to keep the visitors’ attack in check but it is up front where Usama Arafat, Yunus Sentamu, Gusto Mulongo and Odili Chukwuma must show up to fill Okello’s void.
BUL are winless in the past five games losing three in a row including the last one against KCCA at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru.
Ex-Vipers’ forward Karim Ndugwa will be eager to score against former pay masters.
Vipers are now 4th on the log with 18 points while BUL are 12th with only 10 points.
A defeat could end Abbey Kikomeko’s reign as head coach at BUL opening doors for the return of Alex Isabirye.
Elsewhere to complete match day ten, Calvary and Mbarara City lock horns in the bottom of the table clash at Midigo.
