East Africa Speed Skating Marathon 2025:
- Winner: Kenya – 17 points
- 2nd: Uganda – 13 points
- 3rd: Rwanda – 12 points
Uganda scooped silver at the 2025 East Africa Speed Skating Marathon held in the mountainous country of Rwanda.
Kenya toppled the rest of the competitors with 17 points, with Uganda finishing on 13 points.
Hosts Rwanda were third with 12 points.




Kanye had four gold medals in the boys 13-14 years age bracket, juniors as well as senior’s event.
There were two silvers in the junior boys and senior ladies, 1 bronze in seniors.
Uganda also had a gold in the 13-14 years girls cluster, 4 silvers in the 13-14 boys docket, 15-16 girls juniors, 3 bronze in 13-14 boys and girls as well as a fourth place finish in the 42KM marathon.




Rwanda registered two gold medals in the 15-16 boys, 2 silvers for the girls and boys’ 15-16 agees and 1 bronze in the seniors’ men.
The event was organized by Rwanda Skating Federation (RSF) in conjunction with World Skate.
