Uganda Cranes and Tanzania Taifa Stars remain clogged at the goalless mark by the end of the first half of the Africa Cup of Nations Group C clash.
The end-to-end duel has witnessed the Uganda Cranes create numerous scoring opportunities, with none of them being buried.
The best chance for Uganda Cranes fell to Rogers Kassim Mato whose header kissed the crossbar off Abdu-Aziizi Kayondo’s inviting cross from the left flank.
Kayondo has been a busy party on the left wing with Travis Mutyaba dictating the tempo in the opposition final third.
Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Denis Onyango has been on holiday for long spells as John Kalvin, Novatus Miroshi and Saimon Msuva all shot off target on different occasions.
Kenneth Semakula, at Uganda Cranes’ right back, has been cautioned for a late challenge to Tarryn Allarakhia.
The second half will definitely come forth with its own demands and expectations.
