Côte d’Ivoire playmaker Amad Diallo won his third man of the match accolade at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Morocco.
Amad, who also features for Manchester United in the English Premier League, was once again named as the most outstanding player during their 3-0 victory over Burkina Faso at Marrakech Stadium.

“It is humbling to be man of the match again,” Amad, who was also outstanding against Mozambique and Cameroon, hinted.
“We are handling game by game because this is a team effort. We look forward to the next game against Egypt in the quarterfinals,” he added.

Amad opened the scoring business in the 19th minute with a deft right-footed chip over the goalkeeper.
The former Atlanta, Rangers and Sunderland player turned provider for the second goal when he laid the ball for RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande.
Second-half substitute Bazoumana Toure of TSG Hoffenheim scored the third goal following a solo run down the left flank.
