Allan Okello could have played his last game for Vipers this season in a 2-0 win over Mbarara City as his move to Tanzania’s Young Africans is almost done.

The Ugandan international’s transfer to the Tanzanian champions has been agreed between the two clubs with the player also consenting to the move according to reliable sources from all three camps.

Okello who joined the Ugandan champions in September 2023 as a free agent following mutual termination of his contract with Algerian side AC Paradou has only six months left on his contract.

Kawowo Sports has learnt that the deal has cost Young Africans a fee around $ 300,000 for the signature of the KCCA academy graduate.

Young Africans President Hersi Said flew into the country on Friday and met with his Vipers’ counterpart Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa.

At Kitende, Okello has won the premier league and Uganda Cup and is seen as an improvement in the creative role for the Tanzanian side aiming to further in the Caf Champions League.

He will follow into footsteps of compatriots Steven Bengo, Emmanuel Okwi, Diego Hamis and Khalid Aucho who have played for the Jangweni based side.
