The last quarter finals of the 2025 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations happen this Saturday with the winners joining already qualified hosts Morocco and 2021 winners Senegal.

First, three-time champions Nigeria lock horns with North African giants Algeria in a match that pits two perfectionists against each other.

The two nations have won all their competition matches so far with Nigeria dispatching Mozambique 4-0 in the previous round while Algeria overcame DR Congo 1-0 in extra time.

The winner here will face hosts in the semi-final on Wednesday at the Prince Moulay Abdellah stadium, Rabat.

In the last quarter final, holders Ivory Coast take on Afcon record winners Egypt in a match that pits Mohamed Salah against club rival Amad Diallo.

The two have been in good form with the Manchester United star winning three ‘man of the match’ accolades to date while Salah has already registered his name on the score sheet three times.

The winner in Agadir will face Senegal in the other semi-final next week.
