The Ugandan duo of Dixon Aidol “Bond” Okello and Ali Tomusange Mulumba continue to shine at the ongoing AFCON 2025 championship in Morocco.

These two Ugandans have been once again been deployed for operation during the quarter final clash between AFCON record champions Egypt and the reigning champions Cote D’Ivoire at the Stade Adrar in Agadir city.

FIFA certified safety and security expert Okello is one of the two officials in charge of safety and security for the venue whilst retired FIFA Referee Tomusange will be the referee assessor.

Okello will handle the delicate safety and security operations alongside Egyptian Mahmoud Taher.

Other officials:

The catalogue has Algerian Mustapha Ghorbal as center referee. He will work with two Algerian countrymen Abbers Akram Zerhouni and Adel Abane as first and second assistant referees respectively.

Djibouti’s Liban Abdoulrazack Abdourazak Ahmed is the assistant referee three whilst Jean Jacques Ngambo Ndala from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) will the fourth official.

Mohamed Moumin Ali (Djibouti) is commissioner, Ghanaian Alexsander Sakyi Asante will be the general coordinator and Youcef Koudri (Algeria) as assistant general coordinator.

Two officials are on the Technical Study Group team; Ilunga Nkongolo Herita (France) and Aliou Cisse (Senegal).

Mamadou Diallo from Mali is the commercial officer whilst Guinea’s Ibrahima Tanou Diallo will be the media officer in charge.

Video Assistant Refereeing (VAR):

Algerian Lahlou Benraham will be the main Video Assistant Referee (VAR) working along with Tunisian Khalil Hassan and Sudanese Abdalaziz Yasir Ahmed Abdalaziz as first and second assistant VAR’s respectively.

Tunisia’s Zakia Bartegi is the Doping control officer, Morocco’s Sidi Mohamed Moustahsane, the medical officer while Alix Romeo Wabo is the Broadcast Venue manager.

The winner between Egypt and Cote D’Ivoire will face Senegal in Wednesday’s semi-final clash.
