The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations has been exciting both on and off the pitch. The tournament hosted by Morocco has lived to the billing almost in all aspects.
From Rabat, Casablanca, Fes, Agadir, Tangier and Marrakech, the energy and spirit of the most coveted tournament in Africa has been evident.
Since the start of the tournament on 18th December, fans from different parts of the World have braved the cold evenings in Morocco to cheer on their nations.

It is not surprising that with four games to play (2 semifinals, third-place playoff and final), the tournament has set a new record in terms of fans that have been to the stadiums.
As of 10th January 2026, a total of 1,117,846 fans have been to the nine stadiums which equates to 23,288 fans per match.
The aforementioned figures already surpass 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast which ended with 1,109,593 fans, an average of 21,338 per match.
The remaining games at AFCON 2025 are expected to have full capacity and thus stretch the record further.
