Allan Okello is all smiles at Kitende Credit: John Batanudde

Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened. A quote that perfectly explains the sweet and bitter situation between Allan Okello and Vipers SC.

Having spent two and a half years at St Mary’s Stadium, Allan Okello leaves Kitende having guided the club to a double where they lifted a Uganda Premier League title and Uganda Cup.

After confirmation of the deal, Okello revealed that he leaves the club with wonderful and unforgettable memories.

“I take with me wonderful and unforgettable memories,” Okello emotionally revealed in a farewell message.

“I bid farewell very pleased with this chapter of my career and I am also excited for the next to begin. Thank you all and the very best of luck,” he added.

Coming to the Kitende-based side, Okello signed with an injury but he was nursed and pulled the strings once again as the football fraternity danced.

Remembering the warm welcome and belief, Okello was so grateful to the club president Dr Lawrence Mulindwa and club management.

“A heartfelt thanks to the club president, Dr Lawrence Mulindwa, the management, coaches, my teammates and all the venoms.”
