  • BUL vs SC Villa – Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru 4pm

SC Villa coach Zeljko Kovacevic expects a very tough game when his team take on BUL at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru on Friday.

The 17-time champions are one point off the congested summit and a win on Friday will lift them to the top of the standings.

BUL have so far had a very bad season and lie 9th on the log with 13 points, just three above relegation zone.

“BUL is a good team despite having bad results in the first ten games,” Kovacevic told the pre-match press briefing. “But should be difficult game on artificial grass and everything but I know we have shown and prepared well and we hope to play good game,” he added.

The Blues have so far been impressive with their high pressing game and the Serbian believes that could give them edge over Alex Isabirye’s men.

“We have to play a game with high intensity and maybe that will give us edge but the game will be difficult.”

Villa will look to forwards Frank Ssebuufu, Hassan Mubiru and Ibrahim Kasinde for inspiration up front.

Meanwhile, BUL coach Alex Isabirye who started his third stint as coach with a win against Calvary believes they can still overcome the Jogoos.

“In recent matches, we have not had good results but we have worked on several issues and believe we can overcome SC Villa,” said Isabirye.

The hosts could miss defender Nicholas Mwere and forwards Jerome Kiirya and Karim Ndugwa according to reports from their camp.
