Trezeguet double hands Okello continental debut defeat with Young Africans

Mohamed Trezeguet scored a brace as Al Ahly beat Tanzania’s Young Africans 2-0 in Alexandria in the Caf Champions League Group B match.

The Egyptian international opened the scoring in the added time of first half and sealed his brace in the 75^th minute.

The win puts the record champions on top of the group with seven points, three better than Young Africans who at the moment occupy second place.

Ugandan international Allan Okello featured for seventy-five minutes before he was replaced by Zimbabwean international Prince Dube.

The two sides will face off in the second leg clash in Dar es Salaam on January 31, 2026.
