On form Vipers will be eager to maintain grip on the table top when they host Buhimba United Saints in an unusually 4pm kick off at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende.
The Venoms are on a five-match winning run and remain the only unbeaten side in the division this season.
They come into the game on the back of two resounding victories beating Police 4-1 and URA 3-0 at home and away respectively.
With 33 points and a better head-to-head record against second placed KCCA, they will surely finish as the first-round champions and still have a ‘game in hand’ over rivals.
With a decision in their game with Kitara yet to come out, they know only collecting points will put them in strong position to retain their title.
Usama Arafat, Karim Watambala and Milton Karisa were in decent form in the past match and will surely be the players that Buhimba United Saints must worry the most about.
The visitors, beaten 1-0 by NEC in the past outing will hope to upset the Venoms as they aim to increase survival chances.
They are just two points above the relegation zone and have won only four matches this season.
Elsewhere, KCCA host Entebbe UPPC in a late kick off while BUL visit UPDF at Bombo.
